OCR: Customizing attribute default In Aldus FreeHand, an attribute is any text effect, fill, line color or style When you first open new illustration the attribute defaults are: Text: 24-pt Times plain Fill: None Line Basic Color: Black Style: Normal (a 1-point black line with no fill) You can choose whether attribute defaults change every time you apply different attribute or whether attribute defaults stay the same until you choose to change them. To specify when attribute defaults change: Choose "Preferences... from the File menu, and then click More Check "Changing elements changes defaults" if you want attribute defaults to change every time you apply an attribute.
